Huada Chemical Group Successfully Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for Yantai 200,000 tons/year Polyurethane Resin Project

On the morning of December 5, 2020, the groundbreaking ceremony for Huada Chemical Group's Yantai 200,000 tons/year Polyurethane Resin Project was grandly held in the Chemical Industry Park of Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone.

Director Tian Pengbo of the Yantai Chemical Industry Park Management Service Center, Deputy Director Zhou Shizhong of the Economic Development and Scientific Innovation Bureau of Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone, Director Wang Peng of the Dajijia Subdistrict Office of Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone, President Shang Jinbin of Wanhua Industrial Group Co., Ltd., Vice President Li Limin of Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd., and other leaders and guest representatives attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

Mr. Yin Guoping, Chairman of Huada Chemical Group Co., Ltd., delivered the opening speech, providing a detailed introduction to the project.

The total investment is RMB 550 million, covering an area of 96,013.8 square meters. New facilities including workshops, warehouses, a research building, an office building, a fire water pool, and a sewage treatment station will be constructed. Upon completion, the project will establish annual production capacities of 70,000 tons of polyester polyol resin, 30,000 tons of water-based polyurethane resin, 80,000 tons of thermoplastic elastomer resin, and 20,000 tons of polyurethane resin for shoe soles. Once all units are fully operational, the total annual production capacity will reach 200,000 tons of polyurethane resin.

As an invited guest, Mr. Shang Jinbin, President of Wanhua Industrial Group Co., Ltd., delivered a speech expressing sincere congratulations on behalf of Wanhua Industrial Group for the groundbreaking of Huada Chemical Group's new project.

Representing the project construction contractor, Mr. Sun Fuping, Chairman of Yanjian Group Industrial Equipment Installation Engineering Co., Ltd., stated in his speech that they would complete the construction task with the best quality, fastest speed, strengthened safety and civilized construction practices, achieving high quality and efficiency with full commitment.

Later, Mr. Tian Pengbo, Director of the Yantai Chemical Industry Park Management Service Center, stated that the completion and commissioning of Huada Chemical Group's Yantai 200,000 tons/year Polyurethane Resin Project will play a positive role in further adjusting and optimizing the park's industrial structure and upgrading its industrial level. It will also strengthen and extend the park's industrial chain, promoting the common development of upstream and downstream enterprises through the local conversion of raw materials and by-products. He added that the park's Management Service Center would further improve its service level and efficiency, striving to create a first-class environment for enterprise development and supporting companies in their continuous growth.

Finally, amidst resounding music and celebratory salutes, the attending leaders and guest representatives jointly wielded golden shovels to break ground and lay the foundation.
